- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Description
ABOUT US
We are a values-driven ABA therapy practice serving children and families across the Atlanta metropolitan area. After a deliberate operational pause to refine our clinical model, we are reopening with a renewed commitment to ethical, individualized, and outcome-focused care.
Our practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful progress happens when clinical excellence meets genuine respect for the autonomy, dignity, and assent of every learner we serve. We are looking for a BCBA who wants to help shape the culture of a relaunching center — not just fill a position.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a foundational hire. The selected BCBA will have meaningful input into clinical workflows, RBT training systems, and program development — with a clear pathway to clinical leadership as we grow. If you want to build something, not just join something, this is that role.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE & SCHEDULE
- Full-time and part-time W-2 arrangements available — structure is open to discussion with the right candidate
- Monday–Friday schedule; early evening flexibility available to accommodate family schedules
- No required weekend work; optional weekend hours are incentivized
- Hybrid in-home and center-based service delivery within the Atlanta metro service area
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active BCBA certification through the BACB, in good standing
- Minimum one (1) year of post-certification BCBA experience, or demonstrated equivalent as a BCaBA or supervised fieldwork supervisor
- Working knowledge of the BACB Ethics Code (current edition) and demonstrated ability to apply it in real-world clinical decision-making
- Experience conducting FBAs and developing function-based behavior intervention plans
- Experience supervising RBTs in compliance with BACB supervision standards
- Reliable transportation, valid Georgia driver's license, and current auto insurance (in-home service component)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprint-based screening per Georgia Medicaid and CMO requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two or more years of post-certification BCBA experience
- Active Georgia Medicaid and CMO credentialing (Amerigroup, Peach State, CareSource) — or active willingness to credential
- Experience with ABA EMR platforms (CentralReach, Rethink, Catalyst, ABA Matrix)
- Bilingual English/Spanish — additional compensation differential available
- Training or specialization in Verbal Behavior, ESDM, PRT, ACT for behavior analysts, or trauma-informed practice
- Familiarity with Georgia's autism insurance mandate (O.C.G.A. § 33-24-59.2) and CMO prior authorization processes
- Prior experience with combined in-home and center-based ABA service delivery
OUR CLINICAL VALUES
- Assent-based and neurodiversity-affirming approaches as the standard of care, not the exception
- Skill-building over compliance training — we teach, we don't control
- Reasonable, sustainable caseloads that protect clinical quality and clinician wellbeing
- Clinical autonomy within ethical, evidence-based practice — we trust our BCBAs to make sound decisions
- Genuine respect for direct care staff — RBTs are the heart of this work
- Honest engagement with the field's history and ongoing evolution, including the neurodiversity movement's critiques
