The Psychology Department at Queens College of the City University of New York invites applications for two positions in Clinical Psychology (or closely related fields). We seek candidates with expertise in mental health and diverse populations, and who aim to remove the disparities and barriers faced by minoritized communities in mental health contexts.  


  • Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology (Tenure-Track) for Fall 2023. The successful candidate will have a record of, or strong potential for, external funding, and a passion for teaching. We seek a faculty member who will contribute to teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral levels and be actively engaged in committees, departmental administration, and community partnerships.   • Clinical Professor for Fall 2023. The successful candidate will provide clinical training and supervision to doctoral students in our community-based training clinic, the Queens College Psychological Center (QCPC).  QCPC provides training to students in our APA- accredited Clinical Psychology at Queens College Doctoral Program and serves Queens’ very diverse population.  In addition, the candidate will teach courses in the Queens College Psychology Department in our doctoral curriculum, as well as masters’ and undergraduate courses; and contribute to program administration. Applicants should be health service psychologists with expertise in evidence based psychological intervention, and/or psychological/neuropsychological assessment.  Unique to our APA accredited program, is the complementary training in the principles of modern neuropsychology and neuroscience.   Our program values a wide range of methods and approaches to assessment and intervention. Our Psychology Department includes over 2,000 undergraduate majors, Master’s programs in psychology, neuroscience, and applied behavioral analysis and an APA-Accredited Clinical Psychology doctoral program. The Department is also home to the Queens College Psychological Center, a community mental health center located on campus.
